WINDSOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM POLICY

As Windsor, we are aware of the environmental, social, and cultural impacts of tourism activities. We recognize the responsibility that sustainable tourism carries in terms of protecting natural resources, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing the well-being of local communities.

In this regard, we continue our efforts with a continuous improvement approach to reduce environmental impacts arising from our activities, respect human rights, ensure efficient use of energy and water resources, manage waste effectively, and reduce our carbon footprint. At the same time, we aim to support the protection of cultural and social heritage and to pass on the unique values of the destinations in which we operate to future generations.

Windsor considers strengthening cooperation with local communities and local producers, and contributing economically and socially to regional development, as fundamental elements of sustainable tourism. While encouraging ethical, fair, and environmentally friendly practices throughout our supply chain, we also attach great importance to increasing sustainability awareness among our employees, guests, and business partners.

In line with our corporate values, we aim to effectively manage sustainability risks and ensure sustainable growth through long-term strategies. Within the framework of transparency and accountability principles, we commit to regularly informing our stakeholders about our activities and impacts.

In this context, we place great importance on ensuring access for all stakeholders through the sustainability reports we plan to publish annually and on receiving their opinions, suggestions, and contributions throughout our sustainability journey. As Windsor, we will continue to create value for today and the future through a responsible and sustainable tourism approach.

In line with our sustainable supply approach, we expect our suppliers and business partners to:

• Have Quality Assurance Management Systems, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, and internationally recognized environmental and sustainability ethics and/or certifications,
• Ensure that their production and supply processes do not cause harmful environmental impacts and comply with environmental legislation,
• Use and consume resources responsibly without harming nature or ecosystems and comply with hunting bans,
• Make efforts to minimize waste and manage it properly, and offer reduced packaging or bulk packaging alternatives,
• Provide environmentally friendly, resource-efficient, local, ethically produced alternatives that use recyclable or recycled materials, and that are organic, bio, vegan, cruelty-free, and free from harmful chemical components,
• Prefer domestic and local production and service providers,
• Ülkemizin/bölgemizin mutfağını, geleneklerini, kültürünü yansıtan/tanıtan ürün/hizmet olmasına,

Önem verir ve bu bakış açımızı paydaş  tedarikçilerimize iletiriz. Tedarikçilerimiz ile birlikte verimli satın alma fırsatları yaratmaya çalışır, tedarik süreçlerinden doğan çevre etkilerini azaltmayı hedefleriz.
